A tagine is built for slow cooking: the cone-shaped lid returns moisture to the pot, so stews stay tender and the sauce concentrates. This one has an enamelled cast iron base and a stoneware lid.
Use it for North African-style stews like our lamb marqa, or any slow braise with vegetables and chickpeas.
Good for
- Slow-cooked lamb, chicken and vegetable stews
- One-pot dinners on the hob or in the oven
